A watch can be what can make your outfit go from being the best thing since sliced bread, or it can ruin your outfit, making you look like Egor with a mismatched terrible watch. The biggest rule I have when it comes to watches, is to have the right size! You cannot say that having a giant bulky watch looks good when it looks like you have a tracking anklet on your wrist. To me a watch is a subtle but powerful accessory. If done correctly, it can be a great way to make a statement and show of your artistry in fashion. But when done incorrectly it transforms you from a grade-A, super classy, ass-kicking man, into a strange uncultured ravaging maniac.
The point is a good watch will really make a difference. And the type of watch you will tell a story, and it’ll be one that is unique to you. For me personally, I enjoy a simple classic watch. You might like a more flashy watch. Either way, just make sure it is one that you like, and once you have it, match it with your outfit of the day. That doesn’t mean to match the leathers, or to match the metals. Those are general guidelines. But if you don’t have a understanding of your style, it would be good to follow them.
5 Guidelines for your watch:
1.) Pick the right size for your wrist.
2.) Pick your style( make sure it’s what you like).
3.) Match the leathers (match the band to your belt)
4.) Match the metals (match the metal of your watch to your belt and/or ring)
5.) Have fun and explore what you like and what you don’t.
